I won’t be surprised if we find out in 20 years that smoking isn’t even that bad for us. My buddies and I pick up smoking cigs for our week long camping trip into the woods. Smoking is a great past time and the globo homo crowd ruined it, as they are inclined to do. Ruin everything good and decent.

I mean, they're gonna help you meet God sooner. Win win

It's not super terrible here and there, the hard part is it's super addictive.

idk if i'd argue that you love animals then. it seems to me you love the planet and that is your driving motivation.

like I said I don't care if you do or don't eat animals or if you love them or dont. I just found it to be a bit of a hypocrisy to call out others for not caring about animals while you munch on your 'humanely slaughtered' burger. if you're gonna PREACH at least practice what you do.
You may disagree that one can love animals and eat them, but either way it's beside the issue. 8 billion humans and their livestock, agriculture, and industry are resulting in the mass extermination of plant and animal life on a scale not seen since a huge chunk of space rock slammed into Chicxulub and killed almost everything. If you love animals, you should care about that, regardless of your other qualities.

Furthermore, if American fundies aren't going to practice what they preach, why the fuck should I.

This is not even remotely true. Millions of species have arisen and gone extinct in the years between the chicxulub impact and homo sapiens.

Human activity has resulted not only in billions of humans existing who otherwise wouldn't have been able to, but also the artificial preservation of species like the stupid panda who would have naturally gone extinct long ago. We can barely even keep them alive in captivity.

Humans are part of nature. Climate alarmists hold yet another conspicuously religious view that humans are somehow special and different than the rest of nature. Guess who else thinks that? Conservative christians. Uh oh!

2023 - Global Warming is going to kill us! We need to kill all the livestock!

Read about the Holocene Extinction. The current rate of extinction far surpasses the normal background rate.

There is no reason we need more than 8 billion humans. It benefits nobody, not even humans. Just less space and resources for everyone. Nevermind that ecosystem collapse has implications for our happiness, survival, and prosperity.

Saying humans are a part of nature, while technically true, glosses over the important truth that unlike every other species, we are self-aware and capable of knowing better. We can choose to manage our own population and not breed like a bunch of fucking bacteria.

Yeah who needs another einstein, ya know?

Elon is still correct: More humans rather than less is obviously better because humans do all the things that benefit humans, including minimizing carbon emissions. So unless you harbor some antipathy toward the human race as a whole, there's no good argument for less humans as opposed to more. Even if some amazing AI comes along to relieve us all of the drudgery of life, it's gonna be a human that develops that AI in the first place.
