On Long Island, we just "forget" they are still out at the cabana. Everyone eventually takes Uncle Earnie and Auntie Gin down to beach. I bet you can't do this with cell phones now though. Or maybe people just turn a blind eye to it. Long Island is a very practical place, if you can believe it. At least Nassau County. There's lead in the water or something the further out you go.

I'll be King. I would call it "Moral March North Movement," or MMNM. At age 60, you have to start moving -- as in actually moving, you must show evidence of northward movement, so you are past the 70th latitude by the end of your 60's. By the end of your 70's, you have to be quite frosty and perhaps in an icecutter, if you so fancy living to 80 and surviving the 80th parallel. And so forth.

This is so simple. "Go North Old Man!"

And keep going.
