Thanks for the PM. That seems to have solved it.
So I have Titanium installed and connection to P99 working.

I would like to ask a few last questions, if somebody can help me out .
1) My characters are apparently on a "blue" server. Back then when I played, there was only 1 server and I was told that the green server is "better" with much higher population. Is it possible to transfer my characters from blue to green ?

2) There is plenty customisation I need. For instance the game appears in a very small window (about 1/4 of the screen) and I don't see a button allowing to change resolution and/or swap to full screen display . Is there a guide somewhere explaining the first steps in the game ?

3) Same for the UI . It looks like what I remember from 99 so that many buttons and options are missing . How can I change UI ?

No, you can't transfer characters across servers.

To get a full screen windowed mode go to c:/sony/everquest and open the eqclient folder and change the WindowedWidth and WindowedHeight values to fit your screen. There's also WindowedMode x and y offsets. You can cover the entire screen with just the taskbar showing.

For UI the titanium client comes with a few options, in game you can type /load into a chat box and select one. There are also several you can download searching the forms or eqinterface.com and you just go to your everquest/uifiles folder and paste it in there, then it should appear as an option when you hit /load in game.
