wish there was some kind of ultra gold sink or something where you could gamble for uniques like obols

reading how druids have found 3, 4, 5 of em by level 75 is infuriating

Yeah a lot of people had huge problems with complete lack of endgame other than running nightmare dungeons apparently

diablo IV == wow 1.5

and its the direction wow is headed in

cash shops
dlcs
time gates
doling out little hits of 15 minute dopa per run over and over
reskinning content and adding spell effects to make ppl feel a sense of (false) acheivement

it's like... a really bad racing game that has multiplied itself into a casino with a daily grind

Until Blizzard tanks and has to sell all of its IP to another fledgling publisher willing to do better. LOL (Microsoft aint it haha).

Not to mention this wierd obsession with simplifying the art pipeline and environments... so its faster and faster to produce (produce less and give less, yet get more money some how from the SIMPS willing to pay for less)....

There was a good reason for diablo I and II's original fidelity ---- that shouldn't translate to D4 or WoW tho or any of their other games in this day and age. They won't skin the skyboxes properly because "you are your character and that should be front and center on the screen for all the narcissists of this age ---- looking for that next SKIN hit".

i did really like playing my rogue(s) but the severe lack of end game content and just general stuff to do naturally drove players away after they realized it. the giant nerf they did really didnt help either.

it doesnt help that so many incredible games came out in 2023. gamers are getting sick of subpar and unfinished games i think.
