See plenty of people that are on the excruciatingly slow, track to level 60. In my case, it's probably never even possible as a casual player. Server has an amazingly healthy newbie population

nah healthy server population means that there aren't enough pulls to go around, and if you want a decent group with plenty of mobs you gotta play at 4 am PST

Server seems fine to me. Easy to find groups if your even a little bit social. I'm still having plenty of fun. Only level 51 almost 52. I'm taking my time and its been a blast.

I agree that it is a little easier than og but its also still the best thing out there thats closest to what it once was. Still way harder than todays babyfied mmo

Do teal people really still cling to the idea that teal was some kind of magic place? It was just green with kingdom as the top guild instead of seal team, everything else was exactly the same

Nope. But thanks for playing, you may try to slander Teal again on your next post!

To be fair, Green has come a long way for the casual player, as a lot of previous posters have indicated, the server has a vibrant lowbie population and it's fairly easy to get groups (and mobs) all the way to early 50's.

Honorable mention goes to @azxten for the "and instanced over to Teal to get a mana stone before merging back." comment, consider working as a political consultant if you haven't already, it takes talent to take such a huge slanderous dump on a server in so few words. If you wanted a server first, you stayed on Green. If you wanted to join the top zerg raid guild, you stayed on Green. In short, if you wanted to compete, you stayed on Green.

So, Teal wound up being the place where the people who didn't care about competition went to just play EverQuest ... which resulted in it having a lot less asshole players on it.

Did that make Teal all sunshine and rainbows? Of course not. But if you played on Teal, you definitely noticed the higher quality of players, and that was what made it a noticebly superior server.
