You can run to thurg from the port in. The instructions above are correct.

You can get to thurg via boat and lots of walking too it’s just more dicey

I used to run level 1's to Thurg, from Iceclad. It's just a random roll of the dice. It's actually not that far.

The dervishes are probably the most dangerous because the pop out of no where. But just gotta hug the walls. I haven't done it on p99 so I could be wrong.
