I remember when this happened on blue. Circlet price held steady at 4-5k for a bit after nerf, then some nerd in DaP just started incessantly auctioning for 20k. Multiple forum threads and shaming in /ooc later, dude was kicked from DaP for the bad PR.

He succeeded though. Enough people jumped on the price spike bandwagon and it never went below 20-25k again.

There was definitely a DaP guy doing it too over several weeks. I have a pretty clear memory of it. I'd hunt down the thread(s), but I'm lazy.
