These long sustained conflicts though, very costly (or profitable depending on who you are). I've actually just looked up the wikipedia page of the conflict to keep up with what land has actually been annexed/retaken/etc.

Russians are fighting this war like it’s 1000 AD. I almost admire the stupidity

I’m hoping Iran sends in IRGC and Basij and those idiots get mowed down by Ukrainian artillery so that the Iranian people have an easier time revolting

i really don't understand how the russians can observe over 100 years of western combined arms warfare, and still write their military doctrine with 4 letters: ZERG

You’re wrong as always, the US defeated Germany and Japan (Japan was by far the tougher opponent) and kept Britain and the USSR in the war

And they are entirely dependent on Chinese hydrocarbon purchases for their economy. Meaning at some point they give up sovereignty of the east to China

Russia’s only path to survival was NATO and EU membership. They gave up Siberia for donbas. Idiots
