I disagree, Vile. If anything, I'd like the exp to be a little harsher than P1999. Sure, people bitch and moan about the exp rate, but in the end everyone who wants to can make it to 50.
It will force people to group for quicker experience. It will also force people to group who are not solo classes. When/if Red99 comes out, I believe the hype is enough that there will be a large draw and the population will be able to provide groups for new players.
A slower exp rate (as mentioned before me in this thread) will induce a sense of 'achievement' and also promote anti-shady behavior. If it took you a year to get to 50 (it took me two days short of a year to get 50 on Shrubwise) you're going to second guess loading up hax and losing all your hard work.
P.S. If you never found a buddy for your cleric on Red69, I've got a low level SK who would play with you.
