Politics is about priorities.

I don't know why I prioritize things differently than you, but I do.

If the Left collectively agreed to work on removing the "corruption" that we both despise at the same time, I'd cooperate as soon as possible.

But the real world is a cruel bitch, and that will never happen because both sides have trust issues (probably for valid reasons).
You’re rather lucid this evening. I actually agree with you

There is no substantial difference between presidencies regarding immigration policies. Failing to 'fix' this issue provides advantages.

Capitalism requires an exploitable underclass and conservative policy sees to it that this class continues to exist. Conservatives are not going to fix the issue of illegal immigration, no matter how much they whine about it.
Bracero program solves cheap labor issue. Our current policies give us cheap labor but don’t address the lack of taxes poor immigrants pay and the amount of services they consume

That’s probably because our government has realized a market economy with our fertility rates can’t grow, and the guarantee of birth right citizenship established by the 14th amendment means they don’t have to actually say they’re ok with these immigration levels. The tail wags the dog

What's the purpose of pointing out that Obama's 8 year number was bigger than Tromp's 2 year number?
I didn't write any articles but I would do so to point out that Democrats are just as right-wing as the Republicans they claim to oppose.

I want better options. I don't care which party shatters first, or both of them, but until that happens I think we're pretty much stuck in this 'choose between two evil old men' cycle.

Obama was a Republican. He had the lowest interest rates in a long ass time and didn’t invest. We’re having infrastructure debates / CHIPs subsidies whatever nonsense (not bad ideas) but it would’ve been way cheaper to finance during the financial crisis, would’ve helped a bad economy and got us out of that crisis more quickly and would’ve been cheaper in the long run. One problem with our system is we don’t plan things long run very well

Look at the Chinese response to the financial crisis. They had no recession. Granted a lot of their growth is real estate that is nothing more than a bubble, but still

the only thing that can be learned from the current system in china is how much abuse the working class will take and still be obedient. i'm no eco major but most shit ive seen points to the entire system being pretty fake. but also apparently all the systems are. i noped out one night high as fuck trying to figure out magic money theory. as long as there is milk and bread in the store it's a good enough system for me.
