While rogue is likely challenging it's wasted potential since the idea is it's a class where you backstab while in a group
I feel like a self found warrior or knight is more sensible since it feels good to find items and you still use your toolkit for the most part. There's a badass feel to going naked to geared warrior

The biggest challenge or chore is Rogue. It’s perhaps good if you wish to research and exlore least painful ways of leveling with a gimped character.
I can’t see how it’d be any fun however. It’s not a class that’s a fun solo experience even when twinked. I’d recommend paladin (cool quests and progression with items like deepwater harpoon, ghoulbane etc). Shadowknight also good. Ranger also has quite a few quests and fun stuff to try with track and whatnot.

As for hardest it’s rogue without a doubt. Warriors and knights are pretty easy. The main reason people think they’re hard is because they don’t solo like a necro or something. Warrior even in banded armor has huge defense and good damage. Crits and crippling blows add a lot of damage. Taking on low blues and bandaging to 50% is quite efficient. You start fights at 50-60% ho and just destroy them. It gets harder post 50 but you’re near the end then.
Knights are similar. They lose some damage but trade it for spells which are infinitely more useful.
