When should green reset?

I’m imagining my perspective is shared by many. It’s basically a pace of play difference. Attack my question/perspective if you like, but I’d bet many are wondering about this. I don’t desire to replay the same evolution of my characters and the EQ timeline again. I did that, it was fun, and now I want to continue playing these characters and do things I’ve not gotten around to doing. You may be different and I respect that.

My point is the way green and blue would function was clearly communicated before you made the character. You wanted to make your character on blue but made it on green instead and now don't want the designed function of green to happen. And the thing is you can keep experiencing things, your character will just move to blue. If your guild and friends instead want to replay on green 2.0 nobody can really force them to play blue with you.

Well I’m sure the staff will pay out of pocket to keep green open just for you. *eyeroll*

Your chars aren’t going anywhere they’re merging into blue which is still very active. There will be a couple hundred people from green who don’t play new green also so blue will be 1k pop at prime time in that case. You’ll be fine

I'm trying to be as polite as possible saying this, but you did totally sign up for the wrong server between the two. Even before green opened, it was ALWAYS said it was meant to merge to blue then a new green forms. I mean ultimately youll get moved to blue anyway, but it sounds like you'd be happiest if after you get blued, you stick to blue since its the perpetual Velious server.

Ultimately, the day each season reaches velious, the potential content is the same, and every day that passes both servers are closer to being identical economy wise. The alternative is doing a third server, but given how the population is now almost halved perfectly on the two servers, its gonna be kind of all over the place then.

They still havent confirmed they are going to continue to merge with Blue. They also havent came out with anything in a long time. Someone did mention before that the rules between Blue and Green have some differences so that would also make it interesting on the merger. The character merging would also be a interesting concept since limitations of characters per account.


I look often and hope the Admins would at least be nice and put news out about p99 Green 2.0 but still here we are nothing. =/
