Americans, no matter party affilation, should completely reject the idea if you value our first amendment at all. Every human being should always be able to speak your mind and truth and to decide for themselves what is mis or dis information.

Everyone know the Scientific Method is all about trusting already established theories and not questioning the agreed upon narrative.

That's the cornerstone of Science. Shutting up and sitting down. Like a church mouse. Or a housewife in the 1950s.
