why would you leave something as important as a Presidential Election up to chance?
Answer: You wouldn't. There is too much at stake, you have too much to lose if the wrong person is made President.
If you're a major corporation or other "mega-interest" you cannot afford to leave the most powerful government office in the world in the hands of common plebs like us.
