They lose money for political reasons. Thanks bureaucrats and lobbies. Also when u do stuff like force ppl to use a government CONTRACTED lab for radiometer screening. It's pretty yikes.

It would be the cheapest. Cleanest. And safest. Without democrats or Republicans in charge.

It doesn't take like rocket science to do nuclear.

A semester in higgschool with an aptitude test and professional dress code should be sufficient. Also don't hire someone who isn't active in ur church.

***The caveat ill give is it does take some brains to design and do experiments improving and expanding nuclear. Butt those rich kids Aught let go of their grubby patents and trademarks from the 70s by now.
