If he wasn’t unbanned then one of the staff members would’ve jumped into this thread the minute he quoted one of them. And they would’ve said he was full of crap.

They haven’t. Also his forum account isn’t banned either which they likely would have banned once he admitted it was tied to a banned character.

Surprisingly if you make a claim the staff said something about a disciplinary situation, especially if you’re trying what you claim is a direct quote, they will almost always jump into the thread and tell you you’re making that up.
