It depends on what camps you want to do, and if you also plan on getting XP.
If you just want to do Droga clears, then yeah a higher level Mage is probably going to be one of the fastest classes at it. Most solo classes can kill guards efficiently while XPing from around levels 25-55, and that typically nets around 250pp an hour. Wakening Land Goos and Crystal Cavern Geos are generally more profitable per hour than guards, although a bit more swingy in terms of drops. Most solo classes can do those two camps efficiently.
