It's a total contradiction

Scientists claim there could be aliens out there and that these aliens could be hostile life forms.

So what do they do after telling us this?

They bounce around on the moon waving their arms in the air shouting "weeee look at me!" and leaving a pile of trash behind.

They send crappy gifts like that teslar electric car making us all look cheap and trashy.

They create movies which give aliens a bad image.

Then they send out interstellar radio messages giving them our location.

Scientist: "turn around so I can spray paint this bullseye on your back"
