Buy a crockpot, some unbleached flower and a bread machine.

We had peas porridge tonight with a little ham. Basically throw yellow peas, celery, carrots, amish butter some diced onion (optional) in a pot with water and simmer on low for a few hours till all the liquid is sucked up and cooked down. Mash and serve with thin sliced meat. Or toast. Or a nice cheese.

We have free ranged eggs to crack over it in the morning.
all good ideas, but that involves me preparing my own food like some... normal person... *shudders*

I do live sort of near amish country, I wonder if they have any restaurants nearby... I used to live walking distance to this scratch-kitchen diner, 100% home made everything, man i loved that place but they closed up shop. Probably because of the loss of my business, some weeks I spent 200 there lol, and I tip well.
