Rob’s probably right that he got a loan

A few left wing propaganda sites had posted how easy it would be to buy the exact same gun online linking to a pic with the price. If I recall they found it for like $1.2-1.5k
Wouldn't people already know about the loan or would that implicate a bank? and that gun would still have to be sent to a gun store and the shooter would still have to pass the background check?

At what point in life, as a kid, did you have that kind of cash floating around? mad at the world or not. To come up with a plan, during your youth, to save up cash to buy a specific firearm that is expensive (despite cheaper alternatives out there) to shoot up a school.

Banks don’t ask what small loans are for I don’t think, or the kid could have lied

Although I dunno, I know they do for large loans depending on your financial position. When I took out a loan for my 2021 truck, I had good credit but lots of debt and mediocre income, so the bank needed to know EXACTLY what truck I was buying, including the VIN# because it was the collateral they would repossess if I missed payments

But even if the bank did ask and the kid said it was for a gun, it’s not the bank’s job to question or police that

And yea, when buying online the gun is still sent to a local dealer to be picked up, who will run a background check. The kid had a clean record, and hadn’t been red flagged by FBI for any previous internet content, so a background check didn’t stop him

Didn't ask his co-signer either or did this reckless youth already have established credit at the local bank?
