We have this weird fetish with guns in the U.S.

Can't even ban them because few will turn them in and there are too many out there.

We also have a horrible track record with treating mental illness, which is what is causing these yearly mass shootings. It's not the guns, it's the fucked up kids. There are way, way more responsible gun owners that don't go out mass shooting people.

There is no solution to this. The guns are here to stay because there are too many rednecks that love their guns and hunting and other redneck shit.

But on the plus side, when Red Dawn happens it will be tougher to conquer the red states lol.

Just make it more wide spread to be able to sue a gun maker.

And take a page from the Texas anti-abortion bill. Anyone who sees another using a gun (who is not an on duty law enforcer) irresponsibly can sue for money.

People still have the right to bare arms but citizens help to police others and punish irresponsible gun manufacturers.

But what if the person who had the gun gets killed and can’t be sue. This will happen but eventually less guns will be made by manufacturers since it won’t be worth it to make them. Parts seller providing key parts of a gun for manufacturer would be subject to be sued also. And ppl making your own guns go at it (they won’t be mass produced, probably faulty and you run the risk (if even given out) of being sued.)
