Numbers 5:27-28 KJV

It's always hilarious when Kraut Atheists try and quote scripture like they have any clue what they are talking about. Keep the laughs coming, Groomer
Ha ha ha and your the party of context??? Ha!

So…

Quote:
Numbers 5:27 – Abortion Is Okay, If The Mom Doesn’t Approve
“If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry
This is a fun one. Earlier in Numbers, it’s stated that, if a man suspects his wife of sleeping with another man, he may bring her to a priest who will create some sort of magic potion with water and dirt. The woman is then made to drink said magic potion. If she has not cheated on her husband, nothing will happen.

If the woman has cheated and is carrying another man’s child, though, the mystical dirt water; we can call it magic mud, will cause her to immediately miscarry. This is a directive coming straight from God himself to Moses. So even if your little Bible thumping pro-life scripture can dodge all these other verses you kiddie clipped, you can’t deny that this one essentially says, “Abortion is okay as long as it’s forced upon a woman, against her will, for cheating on her husband.”

Yeah… that’s way more acceptable than what pro-choice advocates are going for…

Too bad for you in America we believe this sucker!

5:11 comes from Jewish law in numbers, something Jesus brought to an end.

..So yeah he and the people you're talking to agree with you there.

Quote:
Matthew 5:17-18, Jesus says, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Jesus does not say no part of the law will ever pass away; he says no part of it shall pass away until it is fulfilled, and he says he came to do this very thing, to fulfill it. So, with his coming, the law has been fulfilled and has passed away.

We now live under the law of Christ, not beneath the law of Moses.

The reason 5:11 doesnt really hold up against pro lifers is because in the USA they claim that by accepting Jesus Christ as Savior a Christian is freed from any obligation to obey God’s law but left us with a warning to follow the 10 comandments:

Quote:
“Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:19).
one of which is about not killing.

so it's all about how we define killing/person/life/individual/etc

to their religion at least.
