I've never used a Wavecrasher, it procs at level 1 tho, so I guess it has a niche until you get an Infestation?

Red blade is bis agro proc (besides sod), use in offhand.

Red blade is terrible off hand because it relies on procs for aggro, and you get half the proc chance secondary. Trident generates more threat secondary than red blade due to more reliable threat from white damage.

I do use krezian flame or jaleen katana offhand a lot for stats + low delay...but I get lots of procs offhand too so it's really random. Red blade proc definitely is noticable agro though...I still say max threat feverblade primary and red blade offhand, nothing pulls agro using that combo /nod.

Lol ya, it use to be true before the spell proc changes, lots people skipped epic, but now red blade is awesome and the 2hander honestly is really all you would need to tank anything, it has crazy good agro /nod

My fear with using the 2hander is giving up that 1/3 of procs and risking going longer without an early proc.

Have you found that risk to be worth it? Not having to get something to partner with the red blade would save sooo much dkp [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Zero agro issues and I use it on aow / vindi etc when low number clrs so I survive better. I always swap to it when disc fades on unslowable mobs.

To be honest could use it 24/7 and be fine. Epic 2hs is very very good agro wep /nod.

That is very good to know, thank you! I've used it quite a bit in groups and it's worked well, but I haven't had the nerve yet to pull it out on a raid yet and be like "Hey guys I want to try something different here for science!"
