Haha, what? Yeah, cause people can just... go on msnbc? Wtf are you talking about? Anyone can use twitter, but prior to today many many opinions running directly along a specific political line were throttled and\or banned, so the ones that filter through get amplified. Now, god forbid, *everyone* can just talk freely, hopefully! As long as they aren't breaking any existing laws! It's horrifying, I know.

No, they filter it to promote their ideological position. It's just background noise until amplified by news networks.
