They also falsely claimed that Ukraine was planning, with its allies Great Britain, France, Germany and the US to encircle and dismember Russia. The Donbass irregulars, in collusion with the Russian special forces, staged a phony attack on a Russian hospital . The Russians falsely accused the Ukraine of this attack. Putin then used the action to launch a “retaliatory” campaign against the Ukraine.
