Which I think is a good indicator of how trying for equity of outcome just doesn’t work. Because if we wanted equity of outcome on anything, you think it would be on the thing that results in less humans existing

I think the stratification you are indicating here kind of suggests at the real problem. Addressing economic issues that the poor and "middle class" struggle with might also reduce the total number of abortions... since you mentioned equity of outcome

I love how I always end up arguing against abortion as if I'm a hardcore prolife christian, but I do support 1st trimester abortions and all the usual fringe exceptions like rape\incest.
Also I think it's important to remember just because a lower middle and upper class exist, doesn't mean that there's no mobility between them. I mean sure, some people get stuck in a cycle and need help, but *lots* of people start out poor and end up middle class or rich in america. I think that will always be the case, but certainly instances of corruption or discrimination keeping anyone in a state of poverty should be addressed. Class stratification is just a natural byproduct of a meritocracy (with safety nets), which is kind of the best system we've got despite the flaws.

For sure changing the numbers of poor would result in less abortions of the poor. But there will probably always still be some poor, and those will probably always have the highest utilization rate (as % of population) of abortions And until we change the numbers, and even after we change the numbers, it still has a eugenics kinda element to it, whether intended or not Edit: This is why I don’t think we’ll see many Dem politicians phrasing abortions as population control. Because a follow up question of “which class and race population is being most controlled then?” is not a question they would want to go on record answering

you've been brainwashed into thinking murder is a choice that defines freedom. what we're building in the lab is a way to genetically remove YOU from the gene pool and we start by getting rid of the poor babies. Im sorry you've been brainwashed by libtards to think that going to jail for shooting your neighbor in the face with a shotgun because you feel like it is taking away your freedom

Gravy still ignoring that many prominent dems support allowing abortion up to and including the delivery date, at which point the baby is clearly a human, not a booger.
The dems accuse the right of "life at conception" being a magic trick. Meanwhile they have their own magic trick, which is "life begins when you exit a vagina". Like, okay, what about when you're half way out? Are you half alive?

The guy obviously hasn't read my 12 thousand posts and is clearly off his rocker.
Gravy, you really chose schitsophrania over friends I want you to know that bud. Seek help before you're too far gone to get any.

It is pretty sad to see Gravy compare a potential human life to a booger. His distain for human life is pretty clear here. While I am not generally for abortion, best case scenario for abortion law is outlawing abortions around the time of minimal viability, and giving the law flexibility to update as science improves. Right now I believe minimal viability is 24 weeks, so the law should make abortion illegal around the 20 week mark in my estimation, with the ability to change that to an earlier week period when medical breakthroughs occur.
