Thanks monday morning quarter back larry. Your understanding of history from the young turks is invaluable.

Then you say "Did he NOT own slaves HUH?????". Like, fuck off. If you had lived in 1776 in the colonies, you'd probably have been forced to own slaves to even survive. Jefferson freed his slaves upon his death, via his will, because that's the only way he could without sentencing his family *AND* his slaves to an early death.

But yeah I know slavery bad, no shit sherlock, everyone agrees with that. Very nuanced stuff.

Very convenient for fans of the American founding fathers I guess, but when you're trying to predict my responses to stuff I figure you must be struggling
