Cancelling some ideas is good. Cancelling nazi ism is good, cancelling communism is good. In a free country you can still larp as a nazi or a communist all you want though. And no, conservatives frequently point out that no matter how stupid they think liberals are, they don't want them kicked off social media or college speaking gigs. We find those ideas genuinely dangerous, but want them to be exposed to the light of day and debated. This is precisely what lefty nuts refuse to do, and is where the term "cancel" comes from.
