No. EoT does not quad without two weapon hand ins, he only has double attack, not dual weild out the box. 56 monk pet is the only pet necros get that does not need weapons. I use my 56 mnk pet all the time because of this.

The only only reason you might get a little more dps with eot is on a mob thats much higher lvl. Impossible to summon a dark blue monk pet at 60, when you get dark blue emmisary's quite often.

Edit: This pet tanks really really well. He supposivly has around 2400hp, with a 75tap and a higher level, he tanks much much better than the monk pet.

Rog pet is going to out dps monk and eot pet everytime from behind.(with weapons)
Monk pet does most dps on mediocre mobs, without weapons.
EoT seems to do more damage on raid targets, 55+ mobs in general.
