Most actual funny comedians get in trouble and most shitty ones are celebrated, so it kinda is a comedy emergency.
"But dave chappelle is rich! He can't be cancelled!" Right, but there are thousands of unknown, struggling comedians who have to watch what they say or risk cancellation. That is by definition censorious. Comedy where no naughty words are allowed sounds like the type of thing conservative evangelicals in the 90's would have LOVED. Now it's the left acting like pearl clutching grandmas about everything.
