There is another weapon comparable to Sword of Pain and, without your own kill squad, it's probably easier to obtain LR for, considering how farmed Chardok has become versus Velk's Lab.

Yeah this item can be farmed with one level 60 friend. Only caveat is it is pretty rare. I have camped Grave Master quite a bit, and have yet to see even one drop.
