Like I said, show me a god and I'll believe it.

That whole "do it cause i told you to and if you dont you'll be punished FOREVER" just sounds insane to me.

Just one, for like 30 seconds. I dont think I'm asking for much.

You want people to believe in you? Demonstrate your ability.

This applies for humans, too.

If you can be everywhere at once, in all time zones, all locations in the universe, thats a non-task, from the beginning til the end of time, and supposedly watching me 24/7. You can prove you exist pretty easily.

Its a non-task for something that is literally everywhere and in everything, according to ya'll.

I think that god would have to spend ALL their time hiding themselves more than anything if they were in all things, even my bowl of cereal. Get outta my frosted flakes you silly Jahova.

Do you ever just do something out of the goodness of your heart with the faith that it's good and your helping?

Idk. Imo that is why God gave us free will and doesn't demand absolute obedience. I just take the stuff about hell as a metaphor for what Satan leads people to. Or sin. It's not literal. For some it is. That's their choice though. And the only way they will find God is having the freedom to make that mistake and idolize his word and their beliefs over God himself.

Nope, dont hide behind that free will bullshit.

Where is he? Where was he during the holocaust? Where was he during the russian purges? The chinese famine, where was he?

So you're just supposed to believe in god and thank him for starving you to death when he could have helped at any time. LLOLOLOLOLOL

That is insane. Whatever you gotta say to justify it though.

Anything bad that happens, oh that was just free will of other humans. Something good happens omg that was god looking out for me. God saved me from the diseases! God saved me from my heart sickness a heart transplant!

Sounds REALLY convenient to deny anything you dont like and reinforce anything you already believe.

I actually didn't say that. And that's a lot for me to unpack. I'm not sure I'll attempt to defend myself or address it.

You're not wrong?

God went from living in the sky. Once we reached the sky, god moved to space. Once we could see deep into space, god moved outside the universe!

If you keep moving the goal post, its pretty easy to say stuff like that.

"god did it" is not science. If thats your conclusion to everything, then why bother?
