The Tesla model S weights nearly 5,000 lbs. The F150 lightning will presumably weigh in at 5,500 lbs. Hummer EV is tipping the scales at almost 10,000 lbs.
Yes, some auto manufacturers are still pumping out heavy, gasoline powered cars. But you cant unring the EV bell and I think the move to EVs is accelerating ever so quickly.
GM is even making
EV crate motors which bolt right into any GM bellhousing, allowing you to convert your classic muscle to EV. So to me, the writing is on the wall.
