I concur with your first statement, I don't with your second. Having been in both guilds, I'll take Vanquish any day over Riot.

The amount of soakers in Riot alone is enough of a reason, notwithstanding the constant self-righteous, whinging, and holier than thou members always acting like their shit doesn't stink. The second most important reason would be the differences in leadership styles. V Leadership is adaptive, immensely competitive (even amongst themselves), and innovative. R leadership is slow, cumbersome, lacking in accountability and the will / hunger to win...they've grown fat and lazy, so to speak. In addition, they don't like challenges to their preferred method of leadership nor adapt well. The final "big" reason I prefer Vanquish over Riot is simple, the atmosphere. V is laid back, joking around, talking shit, and overall just enjoying the game without worry. R atmosphere is cancel culture, PC police, and speech police on steroids, with a dose of disconnect from each other and what makes the game fun. When it's time to dial in and focus on the win, people will be called out for trying to disrupt the "go-time" mentality in Vanquish. With Riot, it's "meh".

I'm not saying everything in Vanquish is all peaches and cream, but it's a whole lot sweeter and more enjoyable than that turd sandwich that Riot is.

P.S. Don't come over to Vanquish expecting to soak, we will hold you accountable and your feelings be damned. We also don't hold grudges so lighten up when your ass gets chewed and take it for what it's worth, then move on and enjoy the ride. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Almost everything you said about Vanquish relates to acquisition of pixels. Not one thing about how Detoxx or Furor are nice guys and fun to pass the time with.

In my limited interactions with Arcler way back when, he seemed like a nice guy.

As for the "PC" nonsense, if you're saying Vanquish allows members to embarrass themselves with racist, homophobic, religious, or political talk, chalk another point up for Riot.

Yeah, you might fit in well with the petulant children and their whiny man child leader that literally cries to the GMs in discord to get his way.

Yea I mean, I agree. Like I could give any Fs about it. Thats just a layer of immersion too much for me. Of you need to sabotage another guild of people trying to have fun killing a dragon, like thats how I know its not for me. But im just a random.

I mean, I agree vanquish is doing well and has really good FTE’rs. But when you compare leadership, furoar is a known two boxer who trained another guild.
Why do you think some random train is the be all end all?

It's pretty malign but guilds have been intentionally and accidentally training the living shit out of each other here for a decade.

I could do any of 10 solid actions to destroy riot's ability to raid competitively and none of them involve a pissant train you CR from within mins. A train is literally a nothing issue to either guild. Quick concession, move on with life. If that train actually killed anyone or had ANY EFFECT, there would have been a concession and move on. But it didnt, some mobs moved into north, noone died. Yawn.

Riot has a few members I've watched maliciously train other guilds over the years. Just not fucking stupid enough to do so with a film crew watching.

Name one "solid action" that could "destroy riots ability to raid competitively"?
Do you have a ray gun in your mom's basement?

Plus, how many times did Riot train Furoar that day before he trained them? Not seeing any demands from them to permaban the Riot trainers. It's an obvious double standard that they're willing to cheat but then they want the competition to pay in blood for doing the same shit they do.

No one should be perma banned for training, but the fact is that he was caught multiboxing and THAT is supposed to be a banning offence. Hell, I know people who got harsher punishments for logging in a cleric bot to rez themselves.
