I remember reading TZTimes saying Rallos had a blacklist for people who pkd other players unprovoked

Ya those players were called PK's, a bad thing.

Sort of self regulated version of UO's PK system. It actually meant something to be branded as a PK. People wouldn't group with you, ETC.

It mattered more, since there was item loot. People that agreed to the social norm of not murdering eachother would group together, and exclude scum who would backstab their own EXP group to loot a piece of armor or whatever.

It was great.

Now it seems like the only people who play are PK's which is either goonsquad and WOW mentality creeping over, or that only the people who really liked to PVP came to an emulated version of it and everyone else stayed on non PVP live or whatever.

I like seeing the totally skewed perspectives of people that only cared about playing the game at level 60 describing rallos as not having PVP. PVP ended at level 60 my pal, when most guys were decked in no drop there wasn't a lot of incentive to PVP at that stage.
