The Senate is not in session, and Fann lacks the 16 votes she’d need to hold officials in contempt, which would open the door for their arrest.

Republican Sen. Paul Boyer, who along with all Democrats voted against holding county officials in contempt earlier this year, has not backed down.

He’s called the Senate’s contractors inexperienced and partisan, and he said the audit has become an embarrassment for the Republican Party.

And Republican Sen. Michelle Ugenti-Rita on Saturday said she can no longer support “the Trump audit.”

Why not just hand over the requested information

Unless they are hiding something?

Dominion did cooperate with two accredited firms hired by the county earlier this year, both bipartisan firms found no problems with the election.

Dominion has refused to provide that access, saying it will only cooperate with companies certified by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.

“Releasing Dominion’s intellectual property to an unaccredited, biased, and plainly unreliable actor such as Cyber Ninjas would be reckless, causing irreparable damage to the commercial interests of the company and the election security interests of the country,” said a statement from the company issued in May. “No company should be compelled to participate in such an irresponsible act.”

Convenient excuse

We're talking about a National Election. Everything should be transparent. There should be logs that show who accessed their machines and from where.

Besides, it's the election officials that won't supply the routers so we can determine if there was any outside or unauthorized access to voting information.
