Yup.

Brother in law owns a couple restaurant locations and hes working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week because he can't find enough help.

Sad times in America. Able bodied people sitting at home collecting off the government instead of working.

Imagine if the government gave out that $600 / week to those that were actually out working those low skill / low pay jobs. Unemployment would be less than 2%.

But they don't want that.
The longer they extend it the more people will rely on the government and the more power they will have

Sounds a lot like communism to me.

lol, looks like your brother in law needs to pay more if he can't find people with his starvation wages. Free market 101. If your business model relies on starvation wages it does not deserve to exist. Costco, Chik-fil-a, In'n'out, Wawa, and other high-paying employers are having zero trouble finding employees while still offering competitive prices.

Seriously, if you can't compete with $600 a week designed to ease pandemic suffering and you're begging for the government to coerce people into adequate desperation to take your job, you're a shit person, a leech, and an affront to the American values that make our form of capitalism work

Nearly all low skill, low paying jobs are having an incredible time filling positions. Restaurants are crippled. My wife works in the business and they can’t staff the front or back of the house properly.
lmao

Yeah trump shouldn’t have signed into law bills giving free loaders money. He will forever go down as the RINO in chief, before he burns in hell for eternity

We should probably start taking organs from the unemployed. I think that would make people work

What makes you think small local businesses are exempt from competition? I thought trumptards were supposed to believe in free enterprise and competitive spirit? There are plenty of small businesses out there that don't pay their employees jack shit. I revel in the products of your brother in law's poor business practices.

I'll say it again: If your small business model relies on starvation wages, don't bitch when you can't find anybody desperate enough to take them. These businesses can either go under, or they can make people more, it's that simple. If they go under, it's for no other reason than that they failed to adapt and deserved it.

the point is the gubment should offer incentives for people to go back to work

just the opposite is happening right now and its killing small business across a lot of industries

lol lune's purely academic outlook is comical

You literally can't logically point out how or why I'm wrong so you use vagaries like "academic outlook" and "dipshit", because my logic doesn't jive with your emotions on this matter.

I'll say it a third time, if small businesses are dying because of this, they deserve to die and make room for businesses that pay their employees. Businesses need to compete or die.
