Noisy new laptop

Do you know what your system tempatures are when the fan is not noisy and when it is noisy?

You can use hwmonitor to check, if your hardware has temperature chips.

There may be third party software to control the fan speed. But if your laptop gets too hot it may crash.

From what I'm reading hp laptops are pretty well known for running hot and having loud fans.
There is also the issue of dust building up in them, but you said yours is new.

I'm not sure there is much you can do to P99 titanium to help it.

A week ago I was playing the game on full screen at 1920 x 1080 and the fan was as quiet as a mouse.

So a week ago you could play and didn't have a noisy fan?
Close background processes, clean the dust out.
