Some are more center leaning.
Some are in favour of more taxation.

If a billionaire wanted to publish media that went against the political beliefs of his/her staff, that staff would all eventually quit. People get really passionate about their politics. These companies tend toward a particular slant because the majority of their employees feel the same way politically, not just their billionaire owner. Remember what I said before about the smaller party gets bullied out? Happens within companies too

So regardless of what theories you hold about the political slant of particular media (and we’ll have to agree to disagree on everything other than the fact that if you go high enough, all media is controlled by the same few parent companies, that I agree with), this political slant is a representation of the majority of their employees, not just their CEO

Most of the people I know cross examine a story using different outlets but also, a lot of outlets just use AP. The Associated Press is pretty unbias because they merely report facts and that is some useless shitty journalism but you can count on it to be factual.
