I gotta ask for a true and honest opinion:

Scotch.

It's a masochism thing right? I've tried several varieties and they leave a disgusting fucking aftertaste. It seemed to me the only thing classy about scotch, is being a badass by keeping a straight face after imbibing it.

I remember when I worked at a liqour store we had a guy with some 15 year scotch from one of our testers give us a free sample at the store, I couldn't get the taste out for like 6 hours, I drank like three sodas and had fastfood and still it LINGERED.

Shoot for tasting the woody notes & sweetness and I bet you will start to eventually.

I suppose "good" scotch ought to present it's flavors prior to the gasoline burn, though.
