TMA kills trak w/ under 50 after TR wipes with 30

his damage per round was decreased but his haste was increased as well, and according to logs we both kept the DPS was roughly the same pre and post. i compared the logs we kept from logs you kept and were provided by one of your former members who was one of the few that was still guilded IB and survived that split. we also never used DA idols or stacked mage/necro pets and dropped him with 37 (think hogwash was afk).

The island repops were broken, though, and we were the first guild to actually submit that they were broken (2months into posky).

Same dps but less bursty. Before the nerf he could and would frequently one round a fully raid-buffed tank from 100% instantly. Lower damage rounds at least gave you more of a chance to hit spot heals and CHs in between the hits and made rounds with procs not quite as painful.

I also like how you seem to infer that we never killed him without da idols or mage pets. We had plenty of kills after the changes with tanks up.

i'm not inferring that, i'm stating we didn't use that tactic. after some time and tweaking neither did you, and after that neither did DA. my point was that WE never did it and still managed with the DPS output being roughly equivalent to the spiroc lord that was "buffed" and "too hard" that you were quick to brag about.

Same dps doesnt necessarily mean the same difficulty. As I said before, with the harder hits he could and often would literally one round tanks from 100%. The nerf turned the fight from an "oh god please dont proc 2+ times this round everyone cross your fingers" fight into a "dont fuck up the ch chain and we've got this" fight.

to clarify again about Gore, I still think what I talked about in the post I linked (which no one seems to understand but whatever) is an exploit, but as shiftin told me in tells you guys didn't have enough bards in the last fight to abuse it, so I apologize for asserting that you only got the 28 person kill because of that.

i was talking about soloing efreeti on my cleric.

and duoing fgs was easily done with with any necro / monk / or enchanter (though enchanter being my less preferred ) with out any exploiting, just manastone like crazy, and max ur hps out on the cleric. i would not brag about fgs, they were fun and challenging, took forever as a duo. but not really hard. fact u think u need to exploit to kill tranix or being the only way to kill tranix, boggles my mind.

soloing efreeti was fun. so i will brag about that. and duoing prot and jumpy, i will brag about that too.

we killed gore with 28 because of my bard skills -- if you wanna call that an exploit, because I am clearly OP on a bard with 3/4 of a bottle of ouzo in me, well then I agree with you of course

karsten, i'm not talking about the gore kill, i had no idea about the bard thing till i dueled giegue yesterday and saw how it worked. so i have a rough idea of how it can be done but have no idea whether you did it or not, and quite frankly i could care less. it certainly can make gore trivial with enough bards and MR gear, though.

and yes, SL was a bitch pre-kunark. if the tank got unlucky with procs it would almost certainly lead to a wipe. there were some items that helped with that, though.
