dude I get it, I know its crazy, but there is something that I actually like about the repetability of EQ, I mean, for one thing I am still enjoying it (and doing new things when I play every time) 21(2?) years later. So it's not "overly repetable" so its got that going for it.

I like how it lets me just play at my own pace and master things, it feels more like chess, less like, idk something that is like chess but random (orthello? idk)

I've sat and thought about how weird it is, that I prefer a game that plays the same way every time, over one that would be procedural, but I just cant say other than, I just like it the way EQ plays more.

Idk, I think its a matter of opinion, and also that im in a minority, but hey that's why I play eq heh

Naw you're clearly in the majority. You are right about EQ.

There's the RNG tho. And different classes are really different. That adds a lot of depth. As well as the lore.

Guk is pretty good. I just like to make fun of it. I always make it a point to spend some time there though. Just not my personal favorite.

It totally is a matter of opinion too.

I feel like, end guk, requires some powerful gear. Were as SolA is doable at 40-45+ by everyone regardless of gear. I feel like I could get a lot of enjoyment out of Sola on a 47 war or rogue with fine plate and a bone bladed claymore, nawmean?

I love sol a, I just was disapointed in some of the mob agro issues, because there are some dope ass rooms deep in that goblin part of the cave, that are just full of goblins because people too afraid, its too hard to maintain down there

ALso they could have done better itimisation to bring us into those areas, I mean there are some COOL areas back there, goblin barreks, sleeping quarters, a big cave castle, that you only see if you are 'exploring'

My fave thing about guk, back before velious, it was like a player managed city, no mobs were ever up, everyone was in their best most magical gear in the game, you culd walk around and ask for a pair of shin greeves, it was the most bustling spot in the game, and all the while, it was under the bare feet of diaper wearing trolls hitting frogs with clubs who had no idea what was in store for them once they left the swamp.

No there is a useless castle with goblins everywhere and a bunch of zonelines to sol B as well, wasted area..

Like that back area of the basement of befallen, at least 2 nameds should be back there [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Mobs up perpetually except for launch week [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

U mean where the broken lava pillar is. That is more like a wall, gate, fallen road.

U can get back into the solb bug tunnels ez there.

I know exactly what ur talking about.

It's got a cool double? Door and some static guards and 1 patrol i think. Nice spot.

It's directly above the dungeon.

It could have at one time lead deeper into a goblin city [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
