Ya this is what I thought as well. Last I had heard though Pitt had not even made him an offer while Detroit had, so perhaps my news is a bit DATED. Anyway, I'm glad he didn't get signed by the wings and he's not going to be any good next season regardless of where he plays. He's too old, and the NHL is too fast now a days.
