Is there tactical advantage to going like 3:4 ratio or whatever you have there instead of 4:3?

He gains a greater degree of the same advantage gained by using 4:3 versus 19:9 or other widescreen resolutions. The narrower the viewport's aspect ratio, the more view angle gained to the above and below.
