I think you are quite mistaken however that hard scientists don't remark upon the softer fields of study with at least joking derision. Might you have studied something soft yourself and absolutized your limited point of view?

Are you trying to push forth the idea that right wing ideas are pushed out of academia or a new thing that does not pertain to this at all?

I was calling attention to the specific discord between medical sciences and anthropology, the former which uses racial classifications to measurable effect and the latter which denies, or apparently does (I did not trust the professor particularly well), that they are of any value whatsoever in any context.
