The Septuagint (the seventy) is the only "mostly accurate" representation of the Hebrew Text that predated Christ's entry into the Foray. One of the ONLY TWO points at which the Catholic Church states the LXX (Masoretic Text) is accurate over the Septuagint is in Catholicism's perversion of the word "Almah" to mean; "Virgin" instead of its true meaning "Young Woman" source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaiah_7:14 in the paragraph detailing the Gospel of Matthew. Mind you the Ebionites themselves accepted original Matthew as canonical, and had a number of other "Canonical books" ruthlessly sought out by the Cathodist Empire.

Remember how I said the "on the road to Damascus (QUMRAN) is where Paul was headed to exterminate the Ebionites", where did they find the "Dead Sea Scrolls" which authenticated the Septuagint in quarrels with essentially all Masoretic translations? The caves of Qumran.
