Sounds like a good idea, but from your previous posts it also sounds like the value of the dollar is democratic not authoritarian.

I was agreeing that avoiding a private federal reserve was a good idea.

I didn’t say government should not be the ones to control the value of currency I said they are not (edit I actually did, but more saliently what i was trying to say was that they are not in control). The value is decided by the market. The government can influence that by adding or removing currency, but unless drastic action is taken that is more of a tweak than total control.
