I picked blue because of my playstyle. I've got way more responsibilities now than I did 20 years ago and I can't ignore my family for hours at a time. Because of this I solo exclusively. I'm never going to have an epic or raid gear and I'm cool with that, I have a blast playing the game my way.
The blue servers economy has been around so long that I can buy the stuff I can't solo. My 50 druid has his snare earring and drones of doom arms, a goblin ring for breaking charm and a lumi staff. He's probably the best geared but I have 3 characters with jboots not too mention the druid and bard who don't need them. I realize most people don't play the way I do, but blue fits me quite well. Not to mention the people in Castle blue are awesome (as I'm sure they are over on green!).
