So you're NEW new, as in you never played the game back during its original release? If so, then welcome! I would be super interesting to play EQ with someone who's perspective is not influenced by their nostalgia.

As for joining a guild, I would recommend like taking a week or two to learn the basics of the game's mechanic and UI at your own pace, first.

However, if you would like to join a guild right away, I would say there definitely guilds that accept low-level characters as well as casual players who are unable to level quickly.

I can personally recommend <Castle>; a great group of laid back people.
