hahaha damn, you know you could have just signed up to one?

(p.s. most black slaves were loaded up on boats on the shores of Africa by other African tribes - very few blacks were 'netted in some hunt on horse back by a white guy with a goatie beard', slavery was a cultural thing in Africa, the white man just profited off it)

Edit ^ is a good point that alot of people gloss over, not that it's to justify slavery but it's inherent in the African culture long before white's showed up enmass to ship them all over the world to crop their sugar, coffee and tea's.

Right, people only associate slavery with blacks because it happened in the past 250 years or so.

While blacks were enslaving each other in Africa. Asians were doing it to other Asians. Polynesian tribes were doing it in the Oceanic regions (also some tribes used to eat other tribes in those areas). South America tribes would enslave other tribes.

But when whites decided to enslave another color of person it's a cardinal sin lol.

Guess that is the history lesson for all to learn, only enslave your own kind.

Actually if you read up on history, white's used to rock up to markets in Africa and buy them from other African's.

Then if you read even further, blacks started to intentionally going out to conquer lesser tribes JUST to sell them to the whites. The blacks are completely complicit to the enslavement of their own kind.

Lot of people have this concept that white's went to Africa and ran around with nets capturing blacks and putting them on boats, the vast majority came pre-chained/tied up.

if you also read up more....the Portuguese, Dutch etc were at it way before the English...and if you READ UP EVEN MORE you will learn that one of the reason the English went against slavery was because they wanted to COLONIZE Africa.

it's amazing the sort of things you can learn about history if you're not just getting it from Instagram and Tiktok.

He didn't say that at all though? You're putting words in his mouth and then responding as if he said those words. The purpose of pointing this fact out is that collective demonization of any group of people is wrong, even white people. Being ignorant of the fact that slavery has been practiced by literally every group of people in all of human history nurtures a sort of ever-present animus against white people uniquely. The more information you have about the state of the world at present and also world history allows you to better put things in perspective, and avoid unfair demonization of entire groups of people you've never met.
